Crossrail is Coming
Plans to build the long-awaited cross-London rail link Crossrail, which is intended to make the capital's key business districts more accessible to east and south - east Londoners, received royal at the end of July.
The line will run from Maidenhead and Heathrow in the west, into central London, and out to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east. The link will bring an extra 1.5 million people within an hours's commute of the city's key business area, the Government said.
Party Inpaddington 2008 - Norfolk Square Gardens
The Party Inpaddington this year is being held on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th of September. Starting at 5 p.m. both evenings boast a wealth of live music, dancing and entertainment.
The Paddington BID is also hosting its business proposal launch on the Thursday. The BID aims to continue its work by creating a more attractive, safer, 'greener', better marketed and represented Paddington - delivering a stronger trading environment for businesses.
